A language code field has been added for Gutenprint drivers in gnome-cups-manager 0.31-1.1ubuntu9.
Gutenprint drivers now show up as: "High Quality Image (Gutenprint) (%s)", were %s is the language code.

If I'm not mistaking Debian and Ubuntu package cypsys-driver-gutenprint
only has english PPDs.
