gnome-panel: Installed: 2.14.2-0ubuntu1
gnome-session: Installed: 2.14.2-0ubuntu1

those are the current versions in dapper please make sure you have your
repos enabled and run sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade.
the new version should have fixed that issue.
