[Bug 36873] gconf-editor crashes when editing values

Description:
Steps to replicate:
1) start gconf-editor
2) goto /desktop/gnome/background
3) untick draw_background
*crash*

when lauched from console I get the following output:
*** glibc detected *** double free or corruption (out): 0x082f0570 ***

The program does not exit, it just crashes. When I restart gconf, the
value seems to of been changed though.

OS: dapper, dist-upgraded from breezy on 23-03-2006 and updated this
morning.

The error seems to be different than that of bug #35520, so i filed
another.
