Public bug reported:
Nautilus can not identify a ssh server by a hostname. For example:
I have two computers on the network: one named honey, and one named kissey. Kissey is running an ssh server.
The user on honey wants to access kissey through ssh. The user opens up Places -> Connect to server, and enters 'kissey' in the server field.
Results:
Nautilus complains that kissey is not a valid address. "Couldn't display "ssh://kissey", because no host "kissey" could be found."
Wanted results:
Nautilus should check the local network for hostnames and connect to the proper one.
Putty [1] does this very well. I am ready and willing to provide any
more information. Using latest dapper on x86
