Yes, still there. 
I resorted to REBOOTING  the machine, and the icons (marked with a red cross) are STILL there !
Wow....

Actually the problem got worse: not only does it show local partitions
thay aren't even mounted, but it even INVENTS new partitions : I have
now TWO icons for the root filesytem ! I circled them in red in the pic.
