Public bug reported:
My laptop's resolution is 1366x768. Since breezy, the default resolution
selected by ubuntu installation for my laptop has been 1368x768, which
results in a screen that scrolls from side to side. I don't believe
1368x768 is ana ctual valid resolution, but regardless, it's an easy
enough change for the desktop. However, the problem comes into play for
the gdm login screen. Even after I change the desktop resolution to
1366x768, gdm still scrolls from side to side. This results in an
annoying and unprofessional feel to the log in. I will attach my
xorg.conf file and you will be able to see that it accurately says
1366x768 as well.
** Affects: gdm (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
** Attachment added: "Xorg.conf file"
