I can confirm the first bug. I filed two bugs for the second part
(86025, 86026).
** Changed in: gnome-utils (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided => Wishlist
Assignee: (unassigned) => Ubuntu Desktop Bugs
Status: Unconfirmed => Confirmed
** Description changed:
- Binary package hint: gnome-utils

- Hi,
-
- 1) Gnome-screenshot application could be slightly improved.
+ Gnome-screenshot application could be slightly improved.
Took a screenshot.
I want to save the screenshot but the file already exists. I press the Cancel-button to cancel the action but the application terminates and I loose the shot. It's not what the user expects. Cancel should revert the previous action, not to quit the whole application.
-
- 2) Alacarte menu editor should have a menu, as described in GNOME's HIG.
- http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gup/hig/ Alacarte looks weird and menuless.
- Eg. help-menu has normally many important options: Translate this app, Report a bug, About & Program version etc..
-
- Drag & drop does not work in Alacarte. Drag & drop seems to move items
- but nothing really happen.
