For the serial console ogra mentioned you can use a usb to ttl serial cable
to connect to the pi2 [1]. Having the pins connected this way [2] you can
interact with it through this command once the usb is connected to the
laptop:

    $ sudo screen /dev/ttyUSB0 115200

Then you can configure the network on first boot from console-conf. Please
