6.06 graphic installation is hanging

Might not be related, but I had a few problems with the desktop install
of Ubuntu.  First two disks would pass the disk check, but cause freezes
around the disk partitioning areas.  I then burnt a CD at a slower speed
(16x, I think), and it worked fine.
