Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  not sure if its a bug or just a local problem but I keep getting this
  message when trying to update:

  'E:Encountered a section with no Package: header, E:Problem with
  MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/is.archive.ubuntu
  .com_ubuntu_dists_jaunty_restricted_binary-i386_Packages, E:The
  package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.'

  Im using Xubuntu 9.04
