Title:
update-manager can't show changes lists for PPA packages

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: update-manager

  Hello!

I've been a bit surprised that update-manager can't show the changes
files for PPA packages. Not only that (missing feature), it also
suggests users to visit a completely bogus address to see the changes
  list (bug).

For instance, when doing an update for the package amarok14, available
in my PPA at https://edge.launchpad.net/~bogdanb/+archive/ppa, update-
  manager suggests I look at
  http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/amarok/2%3A1.4.10-0ubuntu3~ppa2/+changelog
for the changes, when in fact they are available at
  http://launchpadlibrarian.net/24837346/amarok_1.4.10-0ubuntu3~ppa2_source.changes

Since the PPAs are a very common and useful feature of Ubuntu (and
getting even more use as time passes), it would be very useful if the
update-manager would notice when it's doing an update from one of
these archives and retrieve the correct changes files. (Also, it would
seem rather easy to find this changes file, at least for PPAs on
  launchpad.net)
