Public bug reported:

Attempting to upgrade my Kubuntu from 11.04 to 11.10 stopped with the
following message:

Inspection of the site (dk.archive.ubuntu.com) indicates that the files are simply missing, it is probably not a permission problem.
Inspection of another site (uk.archive.ubuntu.com) shows that the files are not missing there - so maybe it is a simple synchronization problem.

** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
