  I suggested that u-m should calculate how much cruft is on the system
  and offer a way to bring up Computer Janitor if there is not enough
  space to do the upgrade (options #2 and #3 in that comment).  Because
  we're too late in the Lucid cycle to add those features, I've split
  them out into this separate bug.
