Title:
Boot with encryption broken after upgrade from 7.10 to 8.04

Status in “cryptsetup” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: cryptsetup

After upgrade from 7.10 to 8.04 no passphrase is prompter at boot to
unlock the keys to decrypt my root partition, as if the hard drivers
were probed/discovered by the kernel after cryptsetup attempted to
decrypt them. Tried with /dev/sda6 and with UUID. Tried update-
initramfs -u ALL. Here is the error message I get:

cryptsetup: Source device /dev/sda6 not found
Setting up cryptographic volume root (based on /dev/sda6)
  /scripts/local-top/cryptroot: /scripts/local-top/cryptroot: 286: /sbin/udevsettle: not found

  &

cryptsetup: Source device UUID=<UUID> not found
Setting up cryptographic volume root (based on UUID=<UUID>)
  /scripts/local-top/cryptroot: /scripts/local-top/cryptroot: 286: /sbin/udevsettle: not found

See attachements for fstab, crypttab and menu.lst.
