Failed again with lubuntu 12.04 20120414.
After all inputs were entered, file copying started, first slideshow
slide, minimized the install window to see if "x" failed displaying the
window. No luck, after about the same time as usual, the panel tab for
install disappeared. Less than 20% of the expected bytes were in the
partition.
Anybody any ideas what to try? Lubuntu alpha as (massively) updated to
today running O.K.

Title:
12.04 20120410 daily build lubuntu ubiquity crash
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Could be duplicate of bug #97756. Well into install, after all
questions answered, about 1/3 of the way "copying files" the ubiquity
window disappears. The whirly is still running so I think copying
does proceed to the end of copying but a lot of the install never gets
completed. Do note the hardware, Thinkpad R31, can spend a very long
time on a upgrade from 12.04 Alpha (installed just fine) to Beta 2
without any problem copying.
