** Description changed:

  I'm using a 64-bit AMD system (been dual-booting Windows 7 and Xubuntu
for over a year) and I wanted to try Kubuntu. I deleted the paritions
Xubuntu were on and I booted the install DVD (the version without all
the language packs). I have 2 empty spaces available between 2 HDDs and
I planned to use one for / and the other for swap. As soon as I choose
the areas I want to used for both, the dialogue box disappears and I
find myself back at the Live CD desktop.
