[Bug 1033203] [NEW] can't enter characters in login password field after reboot

after reboot:
type in the Login screen user name,
Then go to the password field
the keyboard doesn't work and i can't type anything.
repeating sys restarts do not remedy problem
password field will NOT accept typed characters ..
