** Description changed:

  after reboot:
- type in the Login screen user name, 
- Then go to the password field 
+ type in the Login screen user name,
+ Then go to the password field
  the keyboard doesn't work and i can't type anything.
  repeating sys restarts do not remedy problem
- password field will accept typed characters ..
+ password field will NOT accept typed characters ..
