I'd also like to add it opens on the monitor the mouse currently resides
on indicating it neither remembers the state (maximised or not) or
location on relaunch following the steps above.

  I'm not sure this is an update-manager issue releated, but this
  HAPPENS ONLY WITH THIS.

  Step to reproduce:
  - Open a window of update-manager
  - Maximize it
  - Close it
  - Re-open it

  What should happen:
  - The window is maximized

  What happens:
  - The window is displayed with its original position.
