[Bug 1061142] [NEW] upon upgrading ubuntu 12.04 to 12.10 not able to login

I just upgrade from 12.04 to 12.10. I downloaded the beta 2 version of
Ubuntu 12.10 few hours ago.

with my username i cannot login.

through remote i can go into system, but all my documents are gone.
Meaning i cannot reach.

Pls let me know what to do.
