Public bug reported:

Lenovo thinkcentre edge17 comes with Windows7 preinstalled on GPT disk.
I deleted Windows and installed Ubuntu12.04.1 instead. Ubuntu installer
showed no error, but at reboot i had no access to Ubuntu.
Reinstalling GRUB1.99 in UEFI mode shows no error (see
http://paste.ubuntu.com/1280862/), but at reboot still no GRUB menu. (even
when setting BIOS in UEFI mode)
Reinstalling GRUB1.99 in Legacy mode shows no error (see
http://paste.ubuntu.com/1284650/), but at reboot still no GRUB menu. (even
when setting BIOS in Legacy mode)
WORKAROUND: Format the disk in MsDos (not GPT), then reinstall GRUB1.99 in
Legacy mode (see http://paste.ubuntu.com/1288870/), at reboot the GRUB menu
appears and allows to boot Ubuntu.

ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04
Package: grub2 (not installed)
