Hello,
Thank yiu for your response.
As I have mentioned I tried installung 12.04 with no success.
Hence, I thought of installing11.04 and then upgrading to 12.04.
Does the crash error for 11.04 indicate anything that can also affect
12.04.

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I got a message telling me to file this bug as my installation of
11.04 crashed.
I had this installed and working fine few days ago, then I installed
12.04 and had been struggling with the installation. Tried it a lot of
times with no success.
So I thought of moving back to 11.04 and got this crash.
Find attached the files mentioned in the crash report:
/var/log/syslog and
/var/log/partman
Please keep in mind I want to install 12.04 and then 12.10 after
resolving this issue.
Do let me know what is causing this issue suddenly.
