Thanks for following up. I don't think we can reasonably claim this is
a bug in acpi-support, then. If you've remapped your keyboard, it's
possible that whichever key you mapped to XF86MonBrightnessDown is also
a hotkey and the hardware was handling this event directly.

Bug description:
I have noticed that running the screenblank.sh script (at
/etc/acpi/screenblank.sh) disrupts the wireless connection. The
connection is cut off and the wireless device can no longer
successfully scan for wireless connections until after its switched
off and on again.
Please tell me how I can help solving this problem.
