8.10 has reached end of life. Have you had this problem on 12.04 or
later?

Incomplete
Bug description:
When using:
ubuntu-8.10-beta-server-amd64.iso 02/10/2008 18:20:00
Installation of base packages file: E: can't find package dmraid
However, dmraid package are located on installation CDROM. CDROM has
been checked.
The following version installs fine:
ubuntu-8.04.1-server-amd64.iso 03/07/2008 21:36:00
