Public bug reported:
This problem exists on EVERY DUI'ed Ubuntu 12.04 machine and VM I
operate - upwards of 50, varying between physical and virtual, with
wildly different hardware, across 12.04, 12.04.1, and 12.04.2.
When the "System Problem Detected" dialog comes up, if I select "Report"
I then get a dialog requesting my password in order to view system
reports. When I enter the password, the dialog refreshes stating that
the password did not match - in spite of the fact that, yes, that's my
password. (This even happens on throwaway VMs with the password
"test".)
The account in question is always a member of the sudo group, and in
fact can and does sudo successfully. My *guess* is that whoopsie is
trying to get a root password instead of the current user password,
because none of these machines HAVE direct root login enabled. But
that's just a guess.
