On Ubuntu 12.10, trying to install Belkin WiFi USB F7D4101v1

Used Windows Wireless Drivers (downloaded via Ubuntu Software Centre),
but got the message:

FATAL: Module ndiswrapper not found.

Is the ndiswrapper module installed?


Used Synaptic Package Manager to re-install ndiswrapper-dkms, got the
message:

Error! Bad return status for module build on kernel: 3.5.0-17-generic (x86_64)
Consult /var/lib/dkms/ndiswrapper/1.57/build/make.log for more information.
