  Update Manager hangs when installing

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  see screenshot, i clicked on install, and it started to download all
  the files, but it wont install. the screenshot shows where it hangs.
  the progressbar doesnt move, my HD led isnt flashing, and my pc is
  still usable, so the HD isnt hanging.

  this was hanging for an hour or so,

  when i closed the window with XKILL and opened the software-center, it
  started to resume. and it all went ok.
