Which doesn't make any point here.

But that's just a suggestion, not the request and the reason to close
the bug. Ironically, as Jean-Pierre said, the NTFS-3G guys have
implemented the feature, and Ubuntu would just need to make use of that
option.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ntfs-3g

  Ubuntu should hide NTFS system files by default, and allow to
  configure it to show them. The same for hidden files. It should
  consider not only ".file" to hide or show, but also the flag of hidden
  files on a NTFS partition.
