  package friendly-recovery 0.2.25 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess
  installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Status in “friendly-recovery” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Was in the middle of a version update to from Orneric to Precise when
  I had hardware issues and had to shut the machine off for a bit while
  I troubleshooted ram issues.  Finally got it figured out and the
  install was broken.

  I used the orneric live-cd to setup a chroot environment and run "apt-
  get upgrade -f".  That got me to a working system, but it looks like
  there's some other damage.
