Mh, this all makes sense. But I never installed this package manually. I
wonder where it came from.

Btw: shouldn't /lib64 be a symbolic link to /lib, or vice versa? Maybe
installing this package overwrote this link somehow?

Bug description:
  I just did apt-get autoremove on my trusty system and it removed some
  libc packages. I thought they were some old versions and trusted
  autoremove, but now my system is completely broken...
