I have re-run the entire installation procedure.  Exactly the same crash
as before has happened, with `grub2` again.  As before, a small dialogue
box pops up, with the message: ``Fatal error running `grub-install
/dev/sda'".

  I was trying to install the Final Beta of Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.  The
  installer crashed while trying to install package `grub2'.  I do not
  know if I can reboot into the computer.
