Your disks are not partitioned for an EFI boot, so you need to boot the
installer in bios mode.  You should have been given a warning at the
partitioning stage of the installer saying that you need an EFI boot
partition, or the system will not be bootable.

  I was trying to install the Final Beta of Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.  The
  installer crashed while trying to install package `grub2'.  I do not
  know if I can reboot into the computer.
