thanks for the feedback - I accept what you are saying - however...
this only happens when I install from a live cd directly. If I "try out"
first and then install from the booted live image I don't get this error.
Given this is my first attempt at ubuntu I will probably have to reinstall
multiple times - I'll update this thread if I can create repeatable steps.
otherwise its just me ;-)
