How did you prepare the USB stick for booting?

What behavior do you see when trying to boot from USB?

  Had Win8 pre-installed on my Vaio. Ubuntu 12.04.3 failed to boot from
  LiveUSB. As per instrutions on some forums I referred, I am reportin
  this bug. :)
