Hi,
I had prepared USB stick with Universal USB (wubi).
Anyways, I got the problem solved. Had secure boot enabled but Boot mode
was on Legacy. Also, after changing boot mode to UEFI again, it had failed.
Tried it 4-5 times. Then it just worked. Now, Ubuntu was installed with
Secure Boot enabled and boot mode as UEFI. But win8 wont laod if Secure
Boot is not disabled. Invalid OS message is output to screen. Anyways,
after disabling Secure Boot again, Win8 and Ubuntu both are booting
successfully.
Just a quick question:
Why can't win8 boot if Secure Boot is enabled, although Ubuntu was
installable having Secure Boot enabled. I mean, what benefit could one get
by installing Ubuntu with Secure Boot enabled, but then booting it without
Secure Boot enabled?
I am a student, so asking this basic question, please pardon the ignorance.
:)
