[Bug 1291385] [NEW] still trying to load ubuntu. seem to have killed my hard drives????

I am not sure if I have two bad hard drives or I have damaged my actual
hardware.  the Ubuntu will load from usb, or cd but I get a crash toward
of the end of the install process. any help on wht to do would be
greatly appreciated
