When you prepare the usb drive, please make sure to format it first, and
when booting up, choose the option to check the cd for errors.

  still trying to load ubuntu.  seem to have killed my hard drives????

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I am not sure if I have two bad hard drives or I have damaged my
  actual hardware.  the Ubuntu will load from usb, or cd but I get a
  crash toward of the end of the install process. any help on wht to do
  would be greatly appreciated
