[Bug 1315125] [NEW] program crases after ubgrade to new version.home screen without programs.cannot log in or log out

after my upgrade of ubuntu saucy salamander to 14.4 program begin to be
extreme slow.Some times i cannot log in or log out.The system stop
working while in an app or web page.I have to force shut down by the
power button and restart again,sometimes i dont have the programs list
on my desktop.Please fix this
