Bug description:
  I tried getting the fcitx input method to work on my system. 
  After many attempts, I finally got it working by running update manager. 

  After a restart, however, the launcher and menu bar went missing.

  I opened the terminal and tried to install CCSM and reset Unity but to
  no avail. (ccsm failed to install. )

  I then used to sudo apt-get -f install command and a bug report was
  launched.
