You seem to have installed some PPA versions of some important python
packages on your system.

libpython3.4 3.4.0-2ubuntu1irie1~saucy1 0
libpython3.4-minimal 3.4.0-2ubuntu1irie1~saucy1 1
libpython3.4-stdlib 3.4.0-2ubuntu1irie1~saucy1 1

You'll need to reinstall the official Ubuntu versions of those packages
and try the upgrade again.  Thanks and good luck!

  Failed up upgrade to 14.04 when setting sources

  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I attempted to update to 14.04 from 13.10 (both 32 bit) on a desktop
  that I rebuilt running only Ubuntu.  Each time the installer did the
  same - told me that it was turning off a couple of third party
  sources, then when establishing new sources (stage 2 of the upgrade
  process, it told me that it failed).

  While I am a newbie to Ubuntu (only been running it on 3 laptops for
  18 months) this is a recycled PC, inherited from my father-in-law,
  that I totally over wrote with 13.10.  This is not a dual boot machine
  and I cannot understand what I have done wrong.
