  Grub2 fails to install, terminates OS installation

Status in “grub-installer” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Trying to install Linux on Windows 8 (newest version, I think 8.2) on
  a Dell laptop but Grub2 fails to install.  Fatal error.  I already
  turned off fast boot and secure boot.  This is my 3rd try.  Thanks.
