[Bug 1384406] [NEW] oem-installer crashes in the last step

Public bug reported:

The oem-installer crashes in the last step (setting up user info, etc).
Without a traceback. Attached is a screenshot of the crash window. As
can be seen the continue button is not greyed out. If that is pressed
before the crash occurs it continues for a bit but shows a different
error window.
