sessioninstaller needs python-xapian, so a full port to Python3 needs a
python3-xapian. Adding task.
However, there is a fallback to work without xapian, using the normal
apt/dpkg DB. That's a tad slower, but as users will see sessioninstaller
maybe three times in their life, that's ok I think.

there is still the goal to deliver a desktop image without python2.
please use python3 for sessioninstaller if possible.
