Your installation medium is corrupt.  Try recreating it and verifying it
from the check disc option at the boot menu.  If you have already done
that, then verify the md5sum of the iso file you downloaded to make sure
it is not corrupt.

  install crash

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Every time during install it comes back with I/O error and then "installer crashed".
  I FINALLY got it to install clean on one machine.
  I have burned the ISO to DVD at 2X, 4X, MAX. I have also tried USB.
