Would be interesting to know why ddms wasn't enabled for you
automatically, if you can provide some details, like did you get other
display-manager installed,  that would helpful.

Happy that you have a booting machine again though :)

Bug description:
  Everytime the system is booted up I get a "Starting version 219" which
  it seems is the version number for systemd.

  Ubuntu version: Kubuntu 15.04 Beta 1
