[Bug 1451161] [NEW] clarify manpage of gitrevisions

Public bug reported:

The sentence `@ alone is a shortcut for HEAD.` alone  is misleading
because `git difftool branch1@ branch2@` fails with `fatal: ambiguous
argument 'master@': unknown revision or path not in the working tree.`.
After reading the sentence one would expect it to work.
