A fix has been committed in the Debian packaging repository (in the
branch wip/dh9). A future update will include that fix.

Title:
Remaining file in modprobe.d after purge

Status in ndiswrapper package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
I recently installed ndisgtk and removed it later again with --purge.
But this didn't remove this file /etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper.conf
which causes, that my wireless LAN driver doesn't load automatically.

Shouldn't "apt-get remove --purge" remove all config files?
