I believe it should be clearer to end user why it's not gonna work on
their system.

Bug description:
  There is no memtest86+ entry in grub2 menu after
  installing/reinstalling package. Looks like script
  /etc/grub.d/20_memtest86+ doesn't produce any output because I see
  this in grub.cfg:
