Your installation medium contains a mix of files from xenial and zesty;
before reusing a disk to install another distribution or release, you
must format it.

  16.04.2 LTS While installing, cant write grub to /target/

Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I boot using UEFI. Though for some reason the bootloader grub cant get
  installed. I use an USB drive made with unetbootin on windows. i used
  the latest image for Ubuntu-Gnome 16.04.2 LTS.
