[Bug 1783771] [NEW] Always fails to install grub installer and says I cannot boot without it..

Public bug reported:

Whenever I try and install Ubuntu it always gets to the end of
installing and then stops, crashes and says it cannot install grub
installer or something and gives me an error report every time..
